This feature is available to all users with access to AI transcription.
You can fine-tune when your subtitles appear and disappear directly in the transcript editor. No external tools needed. This is useful when subtitles display too quickly or too slowly, giving viewers more or less time to read them.
How to edit subtitle timestamps
- Select your video from your library.
- Select Languages from the left-side toolbar.
- Select the overflow menu (⋮) to the right of the transcript you want to edit.
- Select Edit to open the transcript editor.
- Find the subtitle row whose timing you want to adjust.
- Select the start or end timestamp field on that row.
- Enter the new time value.
The preview updates immediately. Your changes sync across all platforms automatically.
Limitations
- Timestamp editing is available for VOD content only. It is not available for live event transcriptions.
- Start and end times can be edited independently.
- Bulk editing is not supported. Timestamps must be adjusted one subtitle at a time.
