Admin-enforced registration presets let organization admins require approved registration forms, with consent and disclaimer fields that hosts cannot remove. Every consent is recorded with the registrant, the disclaimer version, and the timestamp.
Note: This feature is an add-on, available to all Enterprise customers. Contact your account manager for full access.
Who can use enforced registration presets
Organization admins build and approve the presets. This feature applies to organizations that use Workspaces, and enforcement applies to newly created events. Existing events are not retroactively blocked.
How to create an approved registration preset
- Go to Admin settings and open the Registration section at
/manage/workspace/registration. - Create a form template and set a flag for each field: Required, Editable, or Removable. The email, first name, and last name fields are always immutable.
- Approve the preset and apply it to your organization.
How enforcement works
- The mandatory consent checkbox cannot be removed by hosts. Its text can be edited only if the admin allows it.
- Live events must use an approved preset. Hosts see a blocking warning on the event until they apply one.
- Enforced fields appear locked in the form builder.
- Every consent is audit-logged with the viewer, the disclaimer version, and the timestamp.
Recording and VOD registration
- Live event recordings keep their registration form only if add registration form to recording is turned on.
- A recording with registration but no approved preset blocks video management until the issue is resolved.
- Showcase and VOD registration remains optional. However, when you enable it, it must use an approved preset.
Events without a form
Events without a registration form still enforce consent. The mandated checkbox appears on the watch page before playback starts.
