What is Vimeo’s refund policy?
Vimeo full refund policy is described in our Terms of Service. The key points to know are:
- Monthly subscriptions can be refunded up to 3 days after your initial purchase
- Yearly subscriptions can be refunded up to 14 days after your initial purchase
How do I request a refund for my subscription?
If you purchased your subscription from the Vimeo website, contact support to request a refund. Our team will review your request and respond as quickly as possible.
How do I request a refund if I purchased my subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play?
- Apple: We are unable to process refunds for purchases made through Apple iTunes or the App Store. To request a refund for a subscription purchased through Apple, contact Apple Support. Since the purchase was made through Apple's app platform, it is subject to their refund policy and must be handled by Apple's support team.
- Google Play: For purchases made via Google Play, you can either contact us to request a refund or request a refund through Google Play support.
Can I get a refund for an add-on purchase, such as seats or AI credits?
We cannot accommodate refunds for add-on purchases, such as additional seats or AI credits.
The only exception is for seats added alongside your initial subscription purchase; in this case, if your subscription is eligible for a refund, all seats included in that purchase would be refunded alongside the subscription refund. Be sure to remove any team members from those seats before requesting a refund, as we won’t be able to process it if the seats are in use.
Can I get a partial refund?
We cannot accommodate any partial or pro-rated refund requests.
I was told a refund was issued, but I don’t see it yet. How long does it normally take?
While it typically takes up to 10 business days to process a refund, it may take longer depending on your banking institution. We advise waiting for one entire billing cycle (about one month) for the refund to be posted back to the account.
It’s past the suggested time, and I still don’t see my refund. What can I do?
We suggest reaching out to your bank for additional assistance using your receipt reflecting the refund. You can access your receipts in your account settings.
Why does the refunded amount not match what I originally paid?
If we support your local currency, your refund will be the same amount that was originally transacted.
In cases when your local currency must default to USD, you may have paid a different rate due to exchange rate fluctuations. This also applies to refunds in different amounts due to exchange rate fluctuations.
