As a paid user, you have two different libraries - My library and Team library. My library is where you can upload, view, and manage your own videos. You can share videos from this space, make them public, or move them into the Team library. The team library is where you can upload, view, and manage all of the shared videos and folders on the account. You can share content with specific team members in your Team library to give them access.
As a free user, you only have one space - The library. When you upgrade, your Library will change into your Team library and you will get a new My library space. If you’re looking for help with your Library as a free user, please refer to all Team library functionality in this article.

Browse your Libraries
Go to My library from the home page to manage your videos. You can upload, create, and record videos in this space. You can view and manage videos in this space as you see fit - it’s a dedicated space for your videos. From here, you can share videos with other team members, make them public on Vimeo, or work on videos until you’re ready to move them into the Team library.
Team members with Contributor, Contributor Plus (enterprise only) Admin, and Owner roles can add videos to My library. Account owners and admins can manage content inside of another user’s My library using admin tools. Viewer team members will see this folder when they join a team but cannot upload or create content into it. When a Viewer or below is upgraded to Contributor or above, they will unlock the ability to upload and create content into My library. Content privacy settings in My library respect the account owner’s privacy settings. This space cannot be deleted or renamed and ensures users always have a place of their own to save their content (upload, create, record, and save content).
Go to the Team library from home to manage team videos on the account. This space is meant for team collaboration, organizing shared videos and folders, and knowledge sharing.
Owners and admins can see all content uploaded by any user in the Team library. Contributor plus, contributors, and viewers have to be granted permission to specific folders to see content in their Team library.
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find videos across My library and Team library or across Vimeo by searching for relevant words or phrases. See How to search your Libary for more information
Use the sort options on the top of the My library or Team library pages to arrange your videos by title or the date the video was modified or added. You can also toggle between grid and list view using the icon at the top right above the first row of your videos.
Perform bulk actions
You can perform bulk actions on videos in your My library or Team library or from search results in your Library. To select a video, check the box on the left side of its thumbnail/row (depending on if you are in grid-view or list-view).
Once you start selecting videos, the following bulk action options will appear:
- Add to Showcase: Add selected videos to any of your existing showcases.

Move: Move the up to 50 selected videos to a folder that you specify.
- Learn more about folders at 'Organize videos into folders'.
- Privacy: Change privacy settings for up to 50 videos at a time. You can select Link privacy or Embed privacy as required. You can choose to allow or disable downloads. Note that Vimeo Stock clips and Vimeo On Demand videos must remain private.

Delete: Permanently delete up to 100 selected videos from your account after entering your password (team members cannot perform this action).
Make changes to individual videos
If you want to make more granular changes to an individual video or review its file size, you can navigate to its settings from the Library by clicking the video’s thumbnail. Learn more at 'Video settings overview'.
(Side note: if you want to edit the settings of all your videos at once, go to the Videos tab in your Account settings. After making changes to your Upload default, make sure to check the box next to “Also apply to all existing videos” before you save.)
Several additional options will allow you to perform actions associated with the video. In list mode, these icons will appear if you hover over the video.
In grid mode, they’ll appear in the top right corner of the video
- Copy link: You can copy the link to your video and paste it wherever you want to share it.
- Add to Starred: Click on the star icon to add your content to the starred folder. The Starred folder will appear on the left navigation tab on your home page.
- Share: Click on share to open the video share modal to see who has access to the video and can share it with others.
Additional features in My library and Team library
There are other features you can access from the Videos tab as well. Just click the ellipses (...) icon to open the additional menu. These features include:
- Share: This icon looks like paper with an arrow in it pointing upward and to the right. It will take you to the video’s download page, which you can share with others. If downloads aren’t enabled for the video, you’ll be asked to enable them if you want to use this feature.
- Copy link: Clicking on this will let you copy the video link.
- Copy review link: Clicking on this will let you copy the review video link.
- Copy embed code: The < / > icon will copy the embed code of the video
- Analytics: Clicking on the small graph icon will take you to the analytics panel, showing you data for this particular video from the past 30 days. Learn more at 'Vimeo: Analytics'.
- Review: This icon looks like a small speech bubble with a checkmark on it. Clicking it will lead you to the video’s review page. If you have a Basic or Plus account, this review page will only be a demo, and will not be shareable. Read more about review pages at the 'Video review page'.
- Download: Clicking this will open up a modal where you can download all the different available versions of your video. This is not shareable.
- Move: This icon lets you move your video to a different folder.
- Replace Clicking this will take you to the Collaboration tab in your video’s settings, where you’ll be able to replace the current file with another file. The versions can be compared on the review page.
- Add to Starred: Clicking on this icon will star the video/folder and it will appear in the Starred folder on the left navigation panel of the home page.

Delete: Clicking on this will delete your video.
- You can move videos from the Library to a folder.
- You can move videos from one Library folder to another.
- You cannot move videos back into the Library, once moved out.
- You can move folders to another folder, or the library.
