In addition to English, Vimeo is available in French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
If you'd like to see the site in one of those languages and it's not already appearing for you, you can manually change the language:
- Select your avatar on the top right corner.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page to find your current language setting. Select the current language (i.e. "English") to open a modal window with more options.
- Choose your preferred language from the list of options. Once you select a language, the page will reload and your preference will be saved automatically.
If you are on a video page, you can instead select the question mark icon in the bottom left corner, and then select Language. Choose your preferred language from the list and the page will reload with it saved automatically.
⚠️Note: This is regarding the Vimeo website and apps. On your uploaded videos, you can add captions in additional languages, and create videos with text overlays in your preferred language.
