This article explains how to disable the download option for individual videos and for all videos in your account settings.
If you’d rather not have your videos available for download, you can disable the option. Under Privacy settings, we allow our members to specify whether they want to enable downloads. If you have disabled downloading, viewers won’t see the Download button on the video page.

How to prevent downloads for one video
- From your Library, select the video.

Select your video's current privacy setting by clicking on the privacy drop-down on the Share button.

Toggle to allow or disallow downloads and comments on your video.
- The setting will automatically save.
How to disable downloads for all videos
- Navigate to the Upload defaults tab of your account settings.
- Uncheck the box next to Download them (under the "What can people do with your videos?" heading).

Check the box next to "Also apply to existing videos," and then hit the Save button.
For Enterprise Users with Workspaces: This feature can be managed by a Workspace Admin for videos uploaded to the Workspace. For additional information, visit 'How to edit my Workspace's settings'.
