To set up your SAML SSO with Okta:
- In your Okta settings, go to Applications → Add Application → Create New App.
- Fill out this form with the following settings:
- Platform: Web
- Sign on method: SAML 2.0
- Then select Create.
- The General Settings page should be filled out with the following:
- App Name: This should follow how you're referring to your Vimeo Enterprise portal within your organization.
- App logo

App visibility
- Select Next.
- Complete the next form:
- Single-sign on URL is the ACS URL from Vimeo
- Audience URL is the Entity ID from Vimeo
- You will also need the following Attribute Statements:

- Select Next.
- On the next page:
- Check I am an Okta customer building an internal app
- Check This is an internal app we have created
- Select Finish
- Select View setup instructions
- Copy the Identity Provider Single Sign-on URL and paste it into the SAML connection modal within your SSO settings on Vimeo.
- Copy or download the X.509 Certificate and paste or upload it into the SAML connection modal within your SSO settings on Vimeo.
- You'll also need to assign users to the application. Anyone who wants to be able to access Vimeo through SSO must be added to the application. For more information on this process, please see this support documentation from Okta or contact Okta support.
