How to upload a video from Adobe Premiere Pro to Vimeo
Follow the instructions below to export a video from Adobe to Vimeo:
- Connect to the Adobe Premiere Pro integration in Vimeo > Settings > Connected Apps. It will take you to the Adobe app listing page.
- Install the Vimeo Panel from Adobe Creative Cloud by selecting Free.
- Once installed and logged into, Adobe Premiere Pro, select Window > Extensions > Vimeo.
- You will be prompted to allow and activate the integration. Select Activate and proceed to log in to your Vimeo account. The integration supports logging in with SSO, a social account, or an email address.
- Select Allow from the next modal window.
- After logging in, you must enter an Activation code to verify your account.
- Once your account has been successfully linked, you can upload content from Adobe to Vimeo. Select Upload to Vimeo from the modal in the center of the screen.
⚠️Note: This will only show your uploads from Adobe to Vimeo. - You can access your Upload defaults for Vimeo in the upper right-hand corner if you wish to edit them before uploading.
- You may select a different team account and choose the folder destination for your upload.
- Enter a title and description for the video and edit its Privacy settings.
- Once you have updated its settings, select Upload.
- The modal will update once your Upload is complete. From here, you can view the upload as it appears on Vimeo.
- Select the stacked dot menu to edit settings, copy link, copy review page link, export markers as comments, import comments as markers, view comments, download video to timeline, replace video, or delete from Vimeo.
How to use review tools with Adobe Premiere Pro
Within Adobe Premiere Pro, you can access and resolve comments, @mention team members, and download your video onto the timeline. Review tools are available with a paid plan on Vimeo - Pro, Standard, or above.
Review comments
- Select the comments box under the video to review comments for each video.
- You can access all your time-coded comments from Vimeo directly in Adobe Premiere Pro and @mention people on your team to review comments.
⚠️Note: Currently, you cannot leave time-coded comments within Adobe, however, time-coded comments from Vimeo will sync into Adobe.
Download your video
Once you receive comments and are ready to start editing, you can download your video onto your Adobe Premiere Pro timeline and import your comments as markers.
- Select the stacked dot menu to the right of the video in your Library.
- Select Download to timeline.
- Next, select Import comments as markers.
- Time–coded comments will appear as markers within your timeline.
- When you’re done, you can resolve comments directly within Adobe.
Switch Vimeo team on Adobe
If you are part of more than one team on Vimeo, you can access each of your team libraries from within Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Navigate to your different Vimeo team library by selecting your Team logo in the upper right corner of the modal.
- Select the team you would like to access from the dropdown menu.
- Once you’ve navigated to the desired team account, you can access the same folder library structure within Adobe Premiere Pro that you have configured in Vimeo.
