Users on a paid Vimeo plan can record a maximum of 120 minutes per audio recording. Users on a Free or Basic plan can record a maximum of 30 minutes per audio recording.
You can use the Record Studio to make an audio-only recording.
To make an audio-only recording
- Navigate to the Record Studio.
- From the bottom toolbar, make sure that your camera is turned off and your microphone is powered on. You can use the arrow to the right of the microphone icon to select your microphone if you have multiple audio input sources.
- This will display a black recording canvas.
- Select the Start Recording button in the top-right corner of the screen to begin your recording.
- When you are done recording your audio, select the red Stop button.
- Your audio recording will be saved to your Library.
To display or hide the soundwave, select the arrow icon to the right of the microphone icon in the bottom toolbar. Select Show audio waveform.
