Users on a paid Vimeo plan can record a maximum of 120 minutes per video. Users on a Free or Basic plan can record a maximum of 30 minutes per video.
You can write a script or talking points in the Record Studio to use as a teleprompter.
To write a script:
- In the Record Studio, select the Teleprompter button on the input control toolbar.
- The teleprompter window will appear. It is repositionable and resizable. In the textbox, write your script or the talking points for your video.
- The teleprompter box also has controls to change the speed of the text scroll and to increase or decrease the size of the font.
💡Tip: Auto speed uses voice recognition to match the speed of the text scrolling with your pace of talking.
- When you are happy with your script or talking points, select the X button in the top-right corner of the teleprompter window to exit out.
- When you begin recording your video, the teleprompter window will appear and text will begin to scroll, allowing you to read directly from the screen.
⚠️Note: You cannot share your screen while using the teleprompter as the teleprompter will appear in your final video.
💡Tip: The teleprompter window is both resizable and repositionable for you to customize the best fit. Select and drag the teleprompter window to move it to a new position on the screen. Select and drag the corners of the teleprompter window to resize it.
If you are on a paid Vimeo plan - Pro and above or Standard and above, you can utilize AI to generate a script in the Record Studio. Learn more at ‘How do I use AI to generate a script in the Record Studio?’.
