Improvements to how you organize and manage videos

We’ll soon be rolling out changes to how content is organized within your Vimeo account. The goal of these changes is to make it easier for you and your teammates to stay organized, collaborate, and manage access to content on your account.

What is changing?

• We’re introducing a new ‘Shared with me’ section  When someone on your team shares a video with you, it will appear in a new Shared with me space, accessible via the side navigation panel. This section will show all shared videos in one place.   
• For users who don’t already have Private to me or My videos, we’re introducing a new My library section. This is a personal space where you can upload content privately and share it with team members when you’re ready. This will also become the default upload destination, which you can change as always from the upload page. Note: Viewers cannot upload to My library.
  • If you already have Private to Me or My videos, this space is being renamed to My library. Now, you can share videos from this space with your team members, without moving them to the Team library. All user types, except viewers, can upload to My library.
    
                                                                   
                                                           
    
• ‘Library’ is changing to ‘Team library.’ This is a name change only. Any content saved to the ‘Team library’ will be accessible to teammates with whom that content has been shared.
   
                                                           
                                                           
                                                              

• More visibility for account admins and owners. Account owners and admins will now have visibility into the content their teammates save in their ‘My library.’ This update also ensures no content saved within a user’s personal space gets lost if the user leaves the team or company. 
• No action is required from your side. These changes will automatically apply to your Vimeo account. 
• Your existing content will remain intact. The updates simply improve organization and access to content.
