This feature requires an Advanced or Premium plan, or an Enterprise plan with the Events feature added.
You can add a live webcam or desktop source from another location into your Livestream Studio project using the Remote Guests feature. This article discusses how to invite guests, manage their settings, and add them to your stream.

What to know before inviting Remote Guests
Before adding guests to your production, take note of the following:
- Vimeo Enterprise accounts can invite up to 10 guests. Users on Advanced and Premium plans can invite up to 5 guests.
- Remote Guests do not need a Vimeo account to join your stream.
- Browser requirements: Remote Guests can only join your stream via Google Chrome.

How to invite and show Remote Guests in Livestream Studio
To generate a link to send to your Remote Guests and add them to your production:
- After opening Livestream Studio, navigate to the Guests tab.
- Select Add Input > Remote Guests > Add remote guests.
- Select the Settings sub-tab in the Guest tab.
- Copy the displayed Guest link and send it to your guests (via email, messaging app, etc.).
- This guest link will stay the same for the project in Livestream Studio, unless you select Reset guest link.

- When the Remote guest joins, a thumbnail with their camera feed will be added to the Guests tab.
- Select + Add As Input on the individual guest to add them as a standalone input for your event.
- Alternatively, select + Add As GFX to create a gallery-view graphics overlay that includes all guests and the first Studio input.
When a guest is switched into the event, they will see a red "On Air" indicator in their browser.
Making the most out of the Remote Guests feature
The Guests panel provides additional tools for automating and communicating between hosts and guests.

Guest Settings: Select the Settings tab to access automation tools.
- Autopush: Automatically updates the gallery graphic in a selected GFX channel to reflect the current number of guest inputs.
- Auto switch: Automatically switches to the guest who is currently speaking in the Program Output. To manually configure switching thresholds (e.g., check interval, Switch delay, Activation margin), select Manual adjustment.
- Chat: Select the Chat tab on the left side of the Guests panel to access the event chat.
- Removing guests: To disconnect a guest, hover over their image in the Guests tab and select the trash can icon. The guest will receive a notification that the host ended their session.
