If you decide you no longer need paid features included with your Vimeo plan, you can cancel your subscription in your account settings at any time. This article explains how to cancel your subscription via desktop and what happens when you do so.

What to know before canceling a Vimeo subscription
- When you cancel your subscription, you will still have access to your paid features until the end of your current billing cycle.

How to cancel my Vimeo subscription or free trial
To cancel the automatic renewal of your subscription or free trial:

Go to your billing settings page.
- ⚠️Note: The billing settings page is only accessible if you are logged into an account enrolled in an active subscription or active trial. Otherwise, you will see a prompt to renew your subscription.

Select Membership plan.
- On the left side, select Billing.

In the lower right corner, select Cancel subscription.
- Confirm your cancellation.
Why don't I see the option to cancel?
- If your Vimeo subscription was purchased via a mobile app using an Apple App Store or Google Play account, then you will not see the option to cancel in your billing settings on vimeo.com. You must manage the subscription via the relevant mobile platform.
- Visit Apple Support or Google Support for steps on how to cancel mobile-purchased subscriptions.
- If you are on a Free or Basic plan, you will not see the option to cancel.
- You may choose to delete your account instead.
- If you are on an Enterprise account, contact your account manager.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
You can cancel your subscription at any time before the renewal date listed on your billing settings page. You will not be charged for the next billing period if you cancel in advance. Instead of canceling your subscription, you can also choose to downgrade to a lower paid plan.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my membership?
Refunds are not automatic upon cancellation; however, in some cases, you may be eligible for a refund. Read about refund eligibility and how to request one at Refunds for Vimeo subscriptions.
Does canceling my Vimeo subscription delete my Vimeo account?
No, your account will remain active, but lapse to the Free or Basic plan. If you no longer have any need or desire to keep your Vimeo account in any capacity, you can delete it.
