When adding a hotspot to your videos on interactive, you will have to first adjust the position and size of the grab-net. A grab-net is the invisible click area of a hotspot, but if you’re adding a sticky hotspot, it also defines the pixel area of the object for accurate motion tracking.
What does a grab-net do?
This will be the invisible click area while adding a hotspot. If you’re adding a sticky hotspot, it also defines the pixel area of the object for accurate motion tracking so it is necessarily worth spending a little time getting your grab-net just right.
Will the grab-net appear on my final video?
No, the grab-net is only seen in the video editor as a guide to where you want to make it clickable, it will not be shown on your final interactive video.
Why is my hotspot not sticking to the object I want it to?
To improve the tracking of an object make sure to keep the grab-net tight around the required item, this will ensure the tracking engine identifies the correct item you are aiming to stick to for the hotspot. Make sure the entire object is within the grab-net, and avoid trying to track a small part of a larger object. The objects with high contrast to the background within the video will be easier to track.
