How do I use the mobile teleprompter?

This feature is available on the Vimeo app for Android and iOS. If you are on a paid Vimeo plan you can record a maximum of 120 minutes per video. If you are on a Free or Basic plan you can record a maximum of 30 minutes per video.

The teleprompter on the Vimeo mobile app helps you create a script and have it appear on your screen, allowing for you to read your dialogue. The script will not be visible in the final video. 

How to set up my teleprompter

You can set up a teleprompter from the recording screen of the Vimeo mobile apps. 

To set up the teleprompter:

1. 1. From the home screen, select the button with a blue rectangle with a black plus sign in the middle.
   2. Select Record Camera.
   3. From the bottom toolbar, select the Script button to open the menu.
      
      
   4. Type out your script in the text box.

   5. When you have completed your script, select Save. 

Using the teleprompter 

When you select the red circular button to begin your recording, your script will begin to scroll up the screen. The teleprompter's settings, such as speed and font size, can be customized. Learn more at How can I customize the mobile teleprompter?
