AI features discussed in this article are available to video creators and editors on Advanced, Premium, and Enterprise accounts where Vimeo AI is enabled.
Video creators and editors can use Vimeo AI to automatically generate chapters for AI-eligible videos.
To use Vimeo AI to generate chapters for your videos:
- Select the Vimeo AI sparkles button
in the bottom-right corner of the video settings page.
- Select Generate Chapters.
- Chapters will be generated for your video. Chapters consist of the title of the chapter, a thumbnail from your video, and the duration of your chapter.
- Select Save to save your generated chapters (or select “Replace” if chapters already existed for your video).
- If you would like to customize where your chapters start and end, you can then manually edit them from the Interactive button on the left-side toolbar.
