How many free credits does Vimeo provide?
The number of credits that Vimeo provides depends on your account type.
- Free/Basic/Trial: Free credits are not provided to users on Free accounts, Basic accounts, or accounts enrolled in a trial membership.
- Paid Plans: 250 credits.
- Enterprise: Users on Vimeo Enterprise have a certain number of AI credits as part of their plan. If your plan does not include AI credits, please contact your account manager.
If you are on a paid plan and your account downgrades to a Free or Basic plan, you cannot access AI features.
How do I access my free credits?
Free credits are automatically added to your Vimeo account. As this feature is being gradually released, you may not receive your credits immediately. You will receive an email when credits are added to your account and are available to use.

Will my free credits expire?
Yes, Vimeo grants free credits that expire 30 days after being granted. The number of days remaining on your free credits is displayed in the bottom-left corner of the Vimeo home page.
Will I lose access to my free credits if I downgrade my account?
Yes. If you are on a paid account that downgrades to a Free or Basic plan, you will not have access to AI features.
How can I purchase additional credits?
Account Owners and Admins can purchase additional credits by translating a video, subtitles and/or audio. You can purchase the number of credits needed for that translation. You cannot pre-purchase credits in bulk.
