What is causing extra voices or a change in pitch in AI-translated dubbed?
The most common reason you may notice an extra voice or change in pitch or tone is that the system is detecting extra voices when auto-detecting the number of speakers.
How to fix extra voices or a change in pitch in AI-translated dubbed audio
You can try to manually set the number of speakers when creating AI-translated dubbed audio, then re-run the translation.
⚠️Note: Re-running the translation will cost AI credits. Contact your account manager to have credits for any failed translations restored to your account.
To manually set the number of speakers being translated:
- Select the AI menu on the video settings page.
- Choose Translate video.
- Choose Audio and subtitles, then select Continue.
- After selecting the desired language(s), open the second dropdown and manually set the number of speakers present in your video.
- Proceed with running the AI translation.
