How many videos can I upload or create on a Free plan?
When you create a Free account, you may upload or create up to 1 GB of content for the account’s lifetime, unless you upgrade.
⚠️Note: If you created your Vimeo account before June 17, 2024, you may have different video storage limitations on the Free plan. Check your sign-up date in the upper left-hand corner of your account settings or the lower left corner of your homepage or library to track your available video storage.
These video storage limitations are in place for the lifetime of the free account and do not reset or renew. After you reach the free video limit, upgrade your account to upload or create more videos.
Will my Free plan ever expire?
A free plan on Vimeo stays free forever. If you follow our guidelines and log in periodically, your account will remain active.
We consider accounts not used for a full year inactive and reserve the right to remove inactive accounts.
We’ll notify you in advance if your account is in danger of deletion due to inactivity and you’ll have an opportunity to reactivate it.
