You can add text boxes to scenes in Create editor.

Adding text:
You can add up to a maximum of 20 text boxes per scene. Each text box can support up to 100 alphanumeric characters.
To add text to a scene:
- Select the scene that you would like to add text to from the Storyboard.
- Select Text from the sidebar.
- Select from one of the four default text types(Title, Headline, Subheadline, Caption) or select Add text to add a text box to the scene.
- Add the text that you would like to appear in the textbox.
- A yellow bubble will appear on the Timeline to represent the text box. This will allow you to adjust the timing of the text within the scene. Learn more about working with the Timeline at 'How do I use the Timeline in Create editor?'
⚠️Note: Currently, some languages that do not use Latin alphanumeric characters may not render correctly in Create editor.
Highlighting text:
You can also highlight all or portions of your text in another color. At the time, text can only be highlighted in yellow.
To highlight text:
- Select the textbox in the scene to open the Edit Text menu from the sidebar.
- Select the letter(s) or word(s) that you would like to highlight and select Highlight. This will make the selected text bright yellow.
- Selecting Highlight once more with the highlighted text selected will remove the highlight effect.
Edit text with the text inspector toolbar:
The text inspector toolbar will appear when you select a text element in a scene. Learn more about working with the inspector toolbar at 'How do I use the inspector toolbar in Create editor?'
With the text inspector toolbar, you can customize:
- Font
- Select the font for your text.
- Colors
- Set the color of the text and/or set the background color of the textbox.
- Animation
- Select an animated effect when your textbox appears on the screen.

- You can customize the animation to animate by the textbox, line of text, word, or character.
- You can also select the direction of text animation for some animation effects.
- You can customize the animation to animate by the textbox, line of text, word, or character.

- The timing of when your animations will appear, and for how long, can further be customized in the Timeline. Learn more at 'How do I use the Timeline in Create editor?'
- Select an animated effect when your textbox appears on the screen.
- Font Size
- Change the size of the font in the selected textbox.
💡Tip: The default size of the font is 72 pt.
- Change the size of the font in the selected textbox.
- Alignment
- Align the text to the left, to the right, or in the center of the textbox.
- Drop Shadow
- Add a drop shadow effect to the text. Select from None, Soft, Normal, and Strong.
- Edit timing
- Opens the Timeline for you to trim or extend the duration of the textbox in your scene
- Edit text
- Change the text in the selected textbox.
- More options
- Copy
- Copies the text in the selected textbox to your device’s clipboard. You can only paste copied text boxes within Create editor.
- Duplicate
- Duplicates the textbox, adding another copy to the same scene.
- Paste
- Pastes in the text that was previously copied to your device's clipboard.
- Delete
- Deletes the textbox from the scene.
- Forward
- Moves the textbox in front of the other elements of the scene.
- Back
- Moves the textbox behind the other elements of the scene.
- Copy
