Livestream Studio is a multi-camera livestreaming encoder developed by Vimeo. You get access to one license to Livestream Studio with a Vimeo OTT Growth plan, and three licenses with an Enterprise plan. You can learn how to download and install Studio here.
When you first launch the program, you will see a prompt to log in. You should have set up an account on vimeo.com as part of purchasing your plan on Vimeo OTT; select Vimeo and enter your email and password for that account here to unlock your license.
After you are logged in, you can stream to events on your Vimeo OTT site by navigating to the Stream tab and selecting RTMP as your streaming provider.
On your OTT site admin, create a live event. Once you get to the Server URL and Stream Key, copy and paste them into their respective fields in Livestream Studio.
⚠️Note: If you only see one field, click the switch your view link below it to switch to a separate URL and Key field.
When you’re ready to start your event, click the Go Live link in the bottom right corner of the Studio interface. You should see your stream appear on the OTT admin.
If you enabled Preview Mode, your stream will only be visible to you and your OTT Team. You will need to click the "Go Live" option to exit Preview Mode and allow your Customers to see the stream.
From here, you can produce your event from Livestream Studio, which includes features such as graphics overlays and video playback. For more detailed guides on using Livestream Studio, visit the Livestream Help Center.
To stop the stream in Studio, click the red Streaming button in the lower right corner. Be sure to end the event in the OTT Live event setup panel in your site admin as well.
