After your team’s account is updated to an Organizations and Workspaces structure, you may notice that you are no longer able to make changes to your team’s profile page. This article explains why this happens and what to expect.
In this article:
What's preventing me from editing my profile page?
This is a known technical limitation of the new Organizations and Workspaces account structure.
The ability to edit a profile page was previously tied to a specific "Team Owner" permission. In the new Workspaces structure, that role no longer exists, which means no user has the permission to edit the profile page settings. This change is permanent.
How your profile page will behave
The behavior of your profile page depends on its state before your account was updated to the new structure.
- If your profile page was turned off, it will remain off permanently. You will not be able to turn it on.
-
If your profile page was turned ON: Your profile page will remain on permanently, and you will not be able to edit its contents.
- If you had the “Automatically add public videos” setting activated, it will also remain activated permanently, and all new public videos will continue to be added to your profile page.
Our team is aware of this limitation and is investigating potential improvements for the future.
