End screens overview
Among other options, you can display more videos, loop your video, or add a call to action after it finishes playing using an end screen.
-
All end screen options can be found by navigating to your video's settings page > Interactivity > End screen.
- Learn about customizing these settings at How to change my video's end screen.
- End screens will only be reflected when your video is embedded on another web page, or on-site if your video is set to Unlisted or Password-protected. Public video pages on vimeo.com will use the default settings.
- You can also set your end screen as a preset. Learn how at How to create and apply appearance presets for videos.
Registration overview
You may also use a registration form to connect with your viewers.
- Registration forms can be found within the video settings > Interactivity > Registration.
-
Display a customized form screen at the beginning or end of your video, with the option to add a custom message. Learn how to add a registration form to your video at How to add registration to your video.
- The custom message in the form screen will be hidden when the player is smaller than 200px tall.
- You can track the analytics for your registration form within the Registration tab by selecting Manage registrants. To learn more, refer to How to access registrant data.
About customizable end screens
You can drive engagement and conversions with the following customizable end screen options. For a detailed breakdown of end screen compatibility with different player environments, refer to Player environment requirements for end screens.
- More videos: Group together three of your public videos or the latest three videos from one of your channels, groups, or showcases. You also have the option to add a background image to your video’s end screen. The videos shown in this end screen will automatically load and play in your current embedded player.
- Share options: Display social share icons and the video URL after the video finishes playing. You also have the option to add a background image to your video’s end screen.
- Custom image: Display an image after the video finishes playing. You also have the option to make the custom image a clickable link.
- Call to action (CTA): Display a button with a custom link to seamlessly direct viewers straight to your site, product page, or anywhere else on the Internet. You also have the option to add a title, description, additional custom URL, and background image to your video’s end screen.
You can also track the performance of the CTA end screen of a video from the Analytics tab located in the video settings page.
About simple end screens
If you’d prefer something simpler, you also have the following options for what happens after your video finishes playing:
- Thumbnail: This video will return to the beginning thumbnail after it finishes playing.
- Empty: Your video will not show anything after it finishes playing.
- Loop: Your video will loop infinitely after it finishes playing.
💡Tip: Except for the Thumbnail and Loop options, a replay button is located in the bottom left corner of every end screen.
