FAQs
-
Why are the total amounts in the video report and the downloaded CSV files different?
The Report Total line on the analytics report may differ from the total in the downloaded CSV file because the system excludes deleted video analytics from the CSV file but includes them in the Report Total line. -
Why is the report's total for unique viewers/impressions different from the CSV file’s total?
The Report's total line for unique viewers and impressions will differ from totaling the downloaded CSV column because the CSV counts that data at a video level. The report's total line will only total each unique viewer/impression.
For example, if one viewer watches 4 different videos, the unique view/impression will be counted individually for each video row in the CSV report. The report total will only count this as 1 unique view/impression despite the viewer watching 4 different videos. -
Why does the number of videos selected in the content filter not appear in my downloaded CSV file?
The downloaded CSV file will not include lines of data where the video has no analytics. This is why, if you use the content filter and it displays a certain number of videos, but the number of lines in the CSV is less.
