The Starter plan on Vimeo provides a video toolkit covering the fundamentals. It is available on a monthly or yearly subscription basis.

There are some differences in video storage allowances based on when you joined Vimeo. You can check your sign-up date in the upper left-hand corner of your account settings, and check your account’s video storage using the tracker in the lower left-hand corner of your homepage or library.
Before June 17, 2024 and maintained a paid subscription
The Starter plan is capped at 60 videos with a maximum file size of up to 250 GB per video.
On or after June 17, 2024
The Starter plan is capped at 2TB total file storage.

- 7TB total storage and no weekly upload limits.
- Video interaction tools: Capture email addresses before, during, or after your embedded videos play, then download those email addresses or sync them to your email service provider (e.g., MailChimp).
- Vimeo’s notification-style cards let you boost engagement without distracting your viewers.
- Team collaboration: You can add up to 10 team members to your account.
- Google Analytics integration: In addition to Vimeo’s built-in analytics tools, you can track events like plays and email capture for your embedded videos directly in your Google Analytics dashboard.
About the Vimeo Premium plan

Vimeo Premium gives you access to live streaming and other tools for audience engagement and retention.
Vimeo Premium includes everything with Vimeo Business, plus the following:
- Stream live to Vimeo (up to 12 hours per stream)
- Up to three concurrent live events

- Live chat, audience Q&A, and polls
- Simulcast events to social platforms
- Graphics overlays (lower-thirds, fullscreen, corner logos)
- Webcam browser-based production tools

About the Vimeo Basic plan

About the Basic plan
If you are currently on a Vimeo Basic account, you have access to:
- 5GB total account storage
- Basic embedding features
- Basic analytics for your videos
- The ability to download converted video files
- Limited privacy controls for your videos, such as “Private,”.
- Limited video creation tools (up to 120 minutes, up to 10 drafts, some templates, includes Vimeo watermark)
- Screen and webcam recordings up to 30 minutes each
- The ability to upload up to 10 videos per day
- The ability to create 1 channel, 1 group, and 3 showcases
- The ability to publish videos natively to social and eCommerce accounts.
⚠️Note: New screen and webcam recordings count towards your account’s 5 GB of storage. Recordings created before this change remain exempt.
Basic membership is a non-paid plan. As long as you follow our guidelines and log in occasionally, your account will remain active.
We consider accounts that have not been used for a full year to be inactive, and we reserve the right to remove inactive accounts. We’ll notify you in advance if your account is in danger of deletion due to inactivity, and you’ll have an opportunity to reactivate it.
